His Reason Foundation friends have more knowledge. He's been trying to reverse 90's-2000's "All About Barker" mentality on his show by no longer being called "star of the show," and referring to staff by name on-air ("Big Dave," "Rich," and the models each by name, along with producers). He refuses to even be nominated at the Daytime Emmys for "best game show host," preferring to share the wins with the team.<br /><br />A recent Esquire article about Carey's attitude in light of a potential cheating incident proved Carey was honest and let it show. A Twitter Carey shared from a friend said, "There is no LeBron in Team." And cheating will be punished.
