Sounds like the title of an episode of Monk, doesn't it? But if you look at his column today you'll notice he's talking about a strip mall near the coffee shop where he's writing the column. I know exactly the place he's talking about! We used to live about 10 minutes from there, and we were actually over in that neighborhood last week. One of the secret pleasures of living in the same city as a famous columnist is that you occasionally (more than occasionally, actually) recognize yourself as a participant in the great canvas backdrop to the world about which he writes.
Nothing else - I just thought that fact might impress you...
