Yesterday I mentioned that we have to be careful to avoid bitterness and despair should Terri die of starvation. That doesn't mean that we do nothing, however. Blogodoxy has an excellent suggestion:

If what seems inevitable happens, I can only hope the political backlash will be sustained and clear. Judicial impeachments for contempt of Congress would be a good start. And "term limits" (via elections) would be good for the hypocrites who are now crying "states rights" but claim federalism when it comes to killing unborn babies or determining whether same sex marriages are a constitutional right.

Wake up, folks. The bread and circuses come at a price.
