The recent release of Pure Flix's Unplanned, about Abby Johnson's departure from Planned Parenthood, was a box office hit despite mainstream media attempts to sabotage the film.  But as I watched it myself on a Sunday, having to drive 55 miles near Shaw Air Force Base as we don't have a movie theatre for 45 miles, and the ones closest to me were owned by Chinese Communist interests (which for a New Taipei City native legally can have you in trouble over the wants of the Communist Party), I found a screen not owned by Wanda (if you've seen their ads in football, their running series, or triathlons, you'll understand) to watch the movie.

The story starts innocently as Abby and Doug Johnson are at home, and Abby leaves for work after she greets her daughter. The title of the movie is not shown, except for the fact it is built around an eponymous book. The shocking details of the Planned Parenthood of Bryan, TX director being asked to observe an abortion and assist in it starts what is the legitimate reason the movie was handed an R rating, as it depicts children being murdered in a gruesome manner, as the murder takes place.

That scene will repeat itself later as they flash back to her trip to a volunteerism day while in college, introduced deceptively to Planned Parenthood. But what I initially observe is a huge mistake in the movie, as access to the parking lot of that venue is blocked, despite federal law (FACE) signed by the Clinton Administration. The Pure Flix producers also use the inappropriate stereotypes for pro-life folks around the murder mill, and we see the first signs of a product placement (40 Days for Life) being rampant in the movie. I've known Pure Flix has made product placement crucial in their movies, often ruining the message by running advertisements. They flash back to her first failed marriage and her trip to that very same baby murder mill, as a patient, told to consume mifepristone (better known as Rousell Uclaf-486), a drug legalised by the Clinton Administration, to kill her first child. The drug was used to escape the bad marriage in the film, and the horrific bleeding and death of the child could have become two deaths as a result of that scene. It was horrific, and allowed people to see how deceptive the marketers were in pushing the drug (which should be banned, if you saw the consequences).

After the failed marriage, she found love again, a marriage that continues to this day. They also attend church for the first time together, which brings to light a second disturbing scene and product placement. In my 22 years of volunteering with the state chapter of National Right to Life, which I continue to this day as a member of the local chapter, I've met Mrs. Johnson at the Clover Wolf Memorial Pro-Life Weekend in 2012 (the name was added in 2018 following the death of the current state director's mother). I understand they are Catholic, and over Christmas Day itself, I visited my Citizens for Life friends at their Catholic cathedral to observe their services (though not permitted to take communion because of being a Protestant, I deliberately carried my Bible to the service). When the scene notes the Johnsons attending church, instead of a vast cathedral in the College Station area being shown, we are shown an auditorium similar to what you see in a high school, a rock band, and a "minister". In observing the closing credits of the film, we are told the minister in the film is a minister at the notoriously heretic Bethel Church of Redding, California. There is no way a rock band and this type of minister would be at the church the Johnsons attended, as Bethel is a cult, with events such as the "Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry" (see this article or details), and the "Kundalini movement" inside that church. Sadly, the movie's music also comes from Bethel, which should be a warning as many churches today have adopted Bethel, along with its "Jesus Culture" and "Bethel Music" brands, into their churches, not knowing royalties support them.

Scenes of pro-life prayer warriors (around the campus of the baby murder mill where she was working) being sprayed by the sprinkler system have an eerie reference to the civil rights rallies in Birmingham, Alabama, of the 1960's, complete with notorious police chief Eugene "Bull" Connor's use of fire hydrants to spray those pushing for desegregation. Abby is then named the director of the Bryan area Planned Parenthood, followed by her award as director of the year, and plans for a larger facility are announced.  We also learn her parents have prayed for her because of the troubling position she heads—she has only thought the organization was for women's health care (but it was not).

The crucial turning point of the movie take place after we see her awards. There is an innocent time where Doug and Abby have date night at a local cantina, and the television news screens show the death of Kansas baby murderer George Tiller. The prosecuting attorney going after Mr. Tiller was Phill Kline (now having been been part of Citizens for Life these years), who would later lose his law licence when the Governess (who later became the Obama Administration's HHS Secretary, advancing new regulations that we call Obamacare), stripped him for political gain because of his prosecution of Mr. Tiller. He also had previously spoken at a March for Life. After that, Abby is more open and we see how killed children must be reassembled prior to disposal. The children are placed in a barrel and a Prayer for the Dead (though initially I thought it resembled Mormonism's baptism for the dead) are conducted. After that, we return to the opening scene of the film where Abby is called to an abortion examination room and after that breaks down after seeing the child die. She is in the bathroom and broke down, then counseling to the pro-life counselors that were around the room.

As we know now, with the gruesome truth exposed, Johnson quits Planned Parenthood. Their lawyers taunt her, as you might expect, and after finding an attorney that actively is pro-life, she wins her case. She now works on the other side, and we see one expecting mother choose life instead after Abby explains the story. The movie ends with Executive Producer Mike Lindell driving a tractor and pulling down the Planned Parenthood sign as the clinic closed.

My concern was was Bethel's product placement too rampant to push their heresy?

Thoughts as we mourn those lost to baby murder

Over sixty million have died at the "convenience" called "abortion".  Yet elites forced down a Congress where all finances are lead by the same activists that want to force us to fund killing children.  It made me ponder the attendance in our own state at the Women's Marches when it seemed they outdrew our March for Life every year in all three years.  What gives?  (Of course, I have one of the most liberal legislators pushing for baby murder representing me.)  In fact, this year, our politicians were not at our rally as they were at a celebration that has cost me $10,000, my car, my college ring, my dignity, and even forcing me to wear symbols of the enemy, even signing my checks in enemy colours.

Hirono and The Bay Area Giant.  Our annual March for Life has the Knights of Columbus helping us lead the event, as I've noticed for all 22 years I've been associated with the movement.  But two Senators representing elite enclaves (Honolulu and San Francisco) decided to attack President Trump's nominees for judicial positions over being members of the Knights.  And yet there's also a "Personhood" legislator in our state that denounced the March for Life because the majority of marchers for being Catholic.  They know that they could not have won Roe, Doe, Windsor, Obergefell, Lawrence, or other major leftist victories without their judges.  They fear their arrogance is overturned by common sense of the people.

25 Years of Holly.  Former journalist Holly Gatling has led our state's National Right to Life Committee chapter for the past 25 years.  This year, in fact, the National Right to Life Convention is being held near the Charleston airport in celebration of her 25 years.  Attorney General Alan Wilson held a mock trial to celebrate her 25 years at our annual banquet.

The New York City-State.  Sen. Dirksen's warning of the city-state holds true.  New York City is its own city-state (actually three states in the Senate) but they singlehandedly passed a law that makes baby murder legal through all nine months, decriminalises baby murder, and more.  Gov. Cuomo then lit up the Freedom Tower in pink to celebrate -- but why are we celebrating this?  I've seen this month every ugly celebration being done on every New York building with the celebration that cost me everything above.  The Founding Fathers would be angry at seeing one city dominance.  One NFL  player in anger responded, "It is a sad and evil day when the murder of our most innocent and vulnerable is celebrated with such overwhelming exuberance."

Covington.  The attacks on parochial school are sad but a byproduct of today's humanist education.  In some ways I wish my parents never pulled me out of The City based on stereotypes.  I learned the hard way parochial school was the best because everyone was respected based on the standards of God's Word, not as the old Don Koch and Mark Harris song said, "the newest rage is to reason it out" and "man is a god and God is no longer alive".  Those that attack the Catholic school students have no respect of those who are in parochial education.  Of course, considering Stephani Germanotta's attack on Vice-President Pence as she has worked to advance propaganda, what do you expect from those that attack Biblical worldviews?  Now we hear one of the parties that tried to attack the Catholics tried to crash a mass.

Having been the victim of too many aggressors who lied about me and wanted me dead in classic Saul Alinsky style, I sympathise with the students.  National Review has an article about the lying "MSM" attacking.
 
You Attack Them Because Many are Catholics?  Notorious Libertarian Party candidate Steve Lefemine, who has pushed for a Personhood Bill in our state legislature, has blatantly attacked the local March for Life because Catholics are involved, even though Protestants are just as involved in the rally as Catholics.  This is a petty shame because he has fallen to a trap reminiscent of the Northern Ireland-Republic of Ireland wars.

Please DO NOT Push Heresy!  A college "praise team" sang at our March for Life, and it was set to karaoke.  As the event ended and we walked back to our cars, that group of vocalists sang some doctrinal malpractice that was heavily offensive -- but sadly, too many churches have failed to see the discerning ear.  The man-centred worldview of the song in question from an Australian Pentecostal NAR-affiliated denomination is troubling.  Maybe I've gone over the top but when you've sung Händel's "Israel in Egypt" and find more in sacred classics of 300 years ago while seeing nothing from modern pop music, and you've paid musicians at recitals in a karaoke world, it is jarring.  But to sing a tunes of a denomination that refuses to answer Biblical truths and ministers that refuse to speak Biblical truth, as Hillsong leaders refuse to condemn sexual perversion or baby murder is a warning to all of us that Albert Mohler stated Beethoven's songs are not suitable for worship because of his pantheism.   Likewise, the affirmation and not calling sin what is sin by this denomination whose songs that college group sang is a serious disturbance.

Life 2015

The number is staggering:

Fifty-seven million have died in induced baby murders, aka the abortion mills, making the United States third only to The People's Republic and the Commonwealth of Independent States in babies slaughtered.  With the abortion advocates knowing the time to strike back from their losses is through packed judiciaries that are willing to advance every left-wing cause, it is a scary time.  How many times will the Christian worldview be silenced by the packed judiciaries?

This was my 18th Pro-Life Weekend, with both of our Senators, Congressman Wilson, and others representing the state legislature, along with Melissa Ohden being our keynote speaker for both our March and Rally (for which our local county chapter had a seat), she discussed in gruesome details her mother being forced by other family members to attempt aborting her with a saline abortion.  She was forced in the lethal solution five days, and still survived.  Attempts to find her biological family that abandoned her were futile, and her father has since died.  Some of what she learned about her family can haunt many of us, and to find out she is normal, and now a mother herself, is an example of how all human life matters.

We mourn today for those who have died in the gruesomeness of the false "choice".  We defend the sanctity of human life, something this Administration in the White House refuses to do.

Of Rent-A-Mobs, absurd health insurance reform, and running the Peachtree instead of watching 40 hot dog eaters

R ent-a-Mobs. The classlessness of the Christian bashers has grown. Fresh off successes in overturning religious freedom via the overthrow of common sense in favour of selling out to every sin-pusher in the world, they have returned to Austin, where weeks ago, a bill to ban the murder of children after they are 20 weeks old was killed by the filibuster of Wendy Davis that reminded me of the Indianapolis 500's three qualifying sessions (Day One Q1 and Q2, Day Two) and where rules may deserve a change.

The delay tactic used was the bill would die at midnight if it was not passed. The roll call in the Senate started just before midnight, but the final approved votes were at 12:02 AM, killing the bill.

If it was INDYCAR, this problem, and another current session, would not have been needed, all Gov. Perry would have needed was to sign the bill that passed. In INDYCAR, if a car leaves the designated pit box at 3:59:55 PM, just seconds before the 4 PM gun that ends Day One Q1, that driver is entitled to make his runs, even if the green flag waves at 4:02 PM and the run ends at 4:05 PM, and if the driver's time is between 10th and 24th, he is in the field, or between 1st and 9th, he enters Q2.

Would common sense have prevailed?

For someone who was taught to hate orange early and still does with reckless abandon, seeing orange tee-shirts and the classless dress of the protesters had me laughing at what they were doing.

And oh, by the way; the rent a mob told pro-life legislators they hoped their daughters were raped. Now this is thuggery.

Be in the worst shape, lower rates, but double or triple rates for healthy ones? I admit I'm a fitness person. I've run nine marathons and made my super sprint triathlon debut last year. I lift weights and with my best friend, often take barre classes together (she was my dance partner). I avoid colas and junk food when possible, and prohibit quick-service restaurants, colas, and coffee from any intake. And, to take a cue from our British readers (considering the number of football posts we've done here), I do not tolerate fags, nor do I even use them. (If you're not familiar, that's a Brit term for a cigarette.)

With mandatory “health exchanges” coming in play and new approved health care under the “Affordable Care Act,” in effect, a healthy person would pay two to three (or more) times greater than what they currently pay, including mandatory payment for baby murders, and with the anti-Christian agenda of Dear Leader, it is no longer possible to count AIDS as a “pre-existing medical condition” as part of pushing sin legalisation.

So it's perfectly OK to reward poor health but if you're fit and do marathons and the rest, but anyone who is obese, has morbid conditions (including STD's), and the works will be rewarded with lower rates. Go figure. That's ObamaCare.

When in the course of human events . . . Those words mean things. It was 237 years ago those words launched the Declaration of Independence against King George III. How much of this holds true today as we have Dear Leader leading a generation to believe in dependence on the government.

Cultural Outrage has a New Lead. ESPN, which has taken over tennis (and is perpetuating its decline), once again showed the ultimate Independence Day disgrace; the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating contest. Once again, there were two contests, a women's and a men's. What is with that show? Forget the chemical loads, I ran Peachtree Street! ◙

Mourning 40 years of muder, legalised by courts, and the loss of the Sanctity of Human Life

Ive marched 16 times and have been part of our state’s Citizens for Life dinner or other related events, whether it’s dinner with Suzanne Schindler or lunch with Jennifer O’Neill. Watching Michael Clancy’s photograph of a baby with spina bifida being operated in utero before his birth was enough this year to witness what we saw. 

But sadly, I was appalled at what I saw during our March for Life again. A group of Protestants protested the 40th annual march in our state because the march was led by the Knights of Columbus. This is not an issue between faiths, it is an issue of the sanctity of human life, and we just passed the said Sunday in churches, no longer observed nationally following Dear Leader’s decision to purge the pro-life day while celebrating sexual deviancy “pride” month. Why would people complain about Catholics and Protestants marching for the protection of the life of a child? At our annual banquet, only two denominations were represented – Catholics and Baptists.

Forty years is too much. When we now have a Governor in New York who is an odds-on favourite to become President in 2016 pushing for baby murder all the way into birth and beyond, even ordering Catholic hospitals to close, we are seeing the humanist agenda against life, motivated by a President who has forced faith-based firms to pay for baby murder or face heavy fines (see Hobby Lobby), and over 50 million dead in these baby murder mills, I think of this ill-informed generation that trusts MTV has created a mess reversing gains of the life movement as a generation of “sex, drugs, and rock and roll” will listen to what their “dear leaders” will advance.

We've lost millions of children in these gruesome attacks each day, bigger assault weapons than what Dear Leader claims, yet there is no call from him to ban these “assault weapons” that penetrate the skulls of real children. When the National Abortion Rights Action League is glorified and coverage for killing babies is now required under new mandates passed under the “Affordable” Care Act, where does that lead us?

An entire generation of work has now been wiped out by one ferocious dictator. And we mourn for those who have been slaughtered in the 40 years since. I fear now that with the Obama courts everything we've accomplished will be reversed, and the right to kill children and adults that you don't like will become law by judicial fiat.

And it's not just those in the womb. The result is without the sanctity of human life, anyone that a person does not like can be slaughtered at the will of someone who has ulterior motives. Witness Michael Schiavo's fight to kill his wife, the Oregon “death with dignity” law, and the Belgian twins' euthanasia because the deaf were now blind. Are we in a dangerous era of eugenics again?

Paula and Jason Coyle uncover another Life Enhancement Centre that has released another piece of apostasy called a "Bible Study" that's built around another piece of pop culture, and not on God's Word. When will these ministers learn that these studies of popular culture are not appropriate for God's House?

More Betraying of America: Leninism in Schools, MTV, and Anti-Arizona Tactics by Rock Stars

MTV has betrayed America for its 30 years that we have learned Margaret Sanger’s organisation will be allowed to advertise in order to promote the murder of children that liberals want taxpayers to fund, but commercials for pro-life organisations such as Mercy Ministries, the National Right to Life, and religious organistions are now prohibited on the channels. Consider MTV has dominated our youth where we had a President elected by MTV, which has more influence than Fox News today in the White House and youth, what messages are they teaching to youth when baby murder ads air, but not pro-life organisations?

How many more waivers for ObamaCare will be awarded, with most of them awarded to leftist organisations to the enemy must be punished? Once again, this Administration says reward our friends, punish our enemies. Michelle Malkin reports.

A third of students in government schools drop out, with three out of every five knocked-up teenagers never walking the aisle for a diploma. The reading level of students is less than eighth grade for a majority of adults, while functional illiteracy is a reality of life for over 20%, when they cannot read at fifth grade levels. But, the Obama Administration has decided to reward schools that promote Leninism, the anti-industry agenda of the fringe environmentalists with a big award to be announced next Lenin’s Birthday.

Rock music has always been the place for extreme leftist views. When Georgia passed an Arizona-style immigration law, Carlos Santana used his performance at a concert in Atlanta before a baseball game to attack the law that people support. It’s clear illegals have caused criminal incidents As the Left goes, common sense and laws should be replaced by dictatorial requests of the Far Left. ◙

It's Been There Before. Three fights in four seconds?

Child Pornography. Albert Mother's take on an MTV series that is child pornography. I've known the problems of MTV for such a long time that there's a restrictor plate on the television.

Sanger Exploitation of Children. More clinics of Planned Parenthood (a baby murder mill) are found to help with sexual exploitation of minors. ◙

Abuse of freedom

Last year, I referenced Orwellian doublespeak (from 1984) and in light of recent discussions and campaign strategies, I learned even the word “Freedom” has now become the subject of Orwellian doublespeak. As such, federal laws and liberal bill ideas fit the ideology of the use of “freedom” in an abusive matter.

Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act. This law gives abortion clinics special protection churches, houses, and other places cannot receive – a federal law protecting them from anything.

Freedom of Choice Act. This bill (which is endorsed by House and Senate leaders, along with the President) would invalidate all laws against infanticide and open murder of children to all nine months plus. The worst part is it is an abuse of the term “freedom” in that it allows baby murder at all times.

Freedom to Marry. Used by liberal activists to promote sexual deviancy (same-sex “marriage”) by court orders and liberal legislatures, it is an abuse of the term to mandate their demands. New Hampshire governor John Lynch is running for a fourth two-year term and is using “freedom of choice” and “freedom to marry” as his accomplishments. It actually is a sell-out to the Gill Agenda, and now we have a potential Supreme Court justice who, as Solicitor General, is sold out to this agenda that she will betray federal (Defence of Marriage Act) law in order to push their own leftist agenda.

Have we allowed the Left to abuse terms to appease their own special organisations? ◙

Early June Reflections: the oil spill, IRL, Texas, Mary Lee's music

We are standing on Holy Ground? The chorus of a “gospel” song from Geron Davis is ironic considering the news that a Planned Parenthood official calls a newly built mega-abortion mill a "sacred and holy ground". So killing babies is acceptable and banning opponents from speaking is appropriate. Just for the record, the former abortion mill on Barnwell Street in my metropolitan area, after the death of the murderer in an automobile collision, is now the headquarters of the South Carolina affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee.

A Texas Two-Step? The past two Indianapolis 500 winners (Dixon, Castroneves) have won the Fort Worth IndyCar race, traditionally 13 days after the 500, but now six days after the 500 with the loss of Milwaukee because of political issues (which I believe could be used as a front by green activists on the Left to eliminate automobile racing in favour of green space or gambling casinos at the Wisconsin State Fair Park). So this time, it's Fort Worth – Denton County that will have the event after, with the race being held, as is tradition for Eddie Gossage's circuit, on a Saturday night. In its 14th running (one of the races was a day race because of rain), this race has gained a reputation of being the second-biggest IRL event after Indianapolis, partially because of its speed and its nighttime race, which gave the race its reputation as a Saturday Night Showdown that in the early years let the midget and sprint car drivers return to their roots as weekly racers, and revolutionised open-wheel racing with its aura of the night.

Eleven different tracks have raced a National Championship race at night in the modern era, and the partially temporary F1 track at Abu Dhabi and the Streets of Singapore have gone with a dark race. But all of them can thank Fort Worth for teaching the different challenges of night racing. Too bad the day race was lost because of the same lawsuit that forced NASCAR to give up the Grand Slam for taking away the IRL's day race at Texas.

Wind and Solar: The Mantra. President Obama is using the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico to promote the Left's main cause of banning oil exploration and forcing the nation to wind and solar energy, banning trucks, and wishing for a Microcar Nation. I've seen the writing on the wall for years and this is the perfect storm to push for the energy policy of the Left. The Pelosi Administration (2007-09) started it and now we have the perfect storm.

Haunting Piece. Last week I attended a dance concert by Unbound (Caroline Lewis-Jones' company), “The Divine Art of Survival,” based on stories of survival by dance company friends, inspired by the loss of her mother. Live music from the Upton Trio, featuring South Carolina Philharmonic concertmaster Mary Lee Taylor-Kinosian, played during the performances. The opening dance was set to the live Upton performance of “Evocation: In Memoriam September 11, 2001,” a piece that truly set the solemnity of the day that seemingly our President, and our Left, forgets every day. When George W. Bush set the nation in an Earnhardtian mentality of “take no prisoners” and intimidating terrorists, and Barack Obama wants us to reverse the attitude of the “one tough customer” of The Intimidator in favour of cowtowing to the world, it seems he wants us to think over 3,000 died in vain on that September morning. Pieces like these remind me of the difference between the pop music of the world and serious chamber music and orchestras that has shown in the types of music we as a group prefer. ◙

In the spirit of Christ, Christians should oppose racism, every form of greed, selfishness, and vice, and all forms of sexual immorality, including adultery, homosexuality, and pornography. We should work to provide for the orphaned, the needy, the abused, the aged, the helpless, and the sick. We should speak on behalf of the unborn and contend for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death.

Social Engineering - Redefining Marriage for Federal Employees. President Obama's Social Engineering project made two huge advances this week. First, in violation of the aforementioned article, he is defying the Defense of Marriage Act by declaring homosexual partners "married" for benefits purposes for federal employees, defying the standards of the federal law and also many states which have constitutional amendments and laws that declare spouses, and the respective benefits, belong only to persons of the opposite sex who are married to that person -- and no "transgendered" people -- that declare in that state spouses must be of the opposite sex. The decision of the Obama Social Engineering Project to appease the sexual deviants shows once again that the Tim Gill money that has infiltrated local legislatures is now clearly in the hip pocket of Washington. Some believe this is one more step into pushing for their false marriages into the federal level, or even legalising polygamy, which is illegal. Remember in American history, Utah had to declare marriage as "one man" and "one woman" and ban polygamy in order to be admitted as a state. Polygamy was rampant in Mormonism (LDS) and currently in the Islamic world.

Social Engineering - Forcing Microcars Down Our Throats. It's well known now that liberal activists use social engineering to force the minicars and microcars down our throats. The "Cash for Clunkers" earmark in the "defense authorisation" bill is another example of liberals trying to use our defense authorisation bills to force their troubling agenda through. This is a government request to force us into the microcars they've wanted to force us to drive, and wean us out of our trucks, especially since the 2007 Pelosi energy act. Ford executive Alan Mulally has recommended fuel prices should be raised (by taxes) to two dollars a litre (now we see why they supported the microcar mandate; GM and Chrysler kept with trucks, and Obama seized them, reminiscent of Governor Sanford being seized in that he had to take Porkulus money when he refused), and foreign automakers' praise of the green auto standards, have shown what supporting this administration will do. Worse yet, two years ago, the defense authorisation bill was used to raise the minimum wage 40% to appease the labour unions in charge, which has been responsible for much of the unemployment turmoil in this country.

NRLC Charlotte 2009. Taxpayers would pay for abortions under plans of the socialised medicine plans that we have called "HillaryCare" or "ObamaCare". Rep. Christopher Smith (left) mentioned at the National Right to Life Convention Closing Dinner in Charlotte Saturday night of the dangers of such. Not only would we receive rationed health care of the likes in Europe, our taxpayer money would be used to pay for killing people, and one proposal floated would require all obstetricians to have killed at least one child (did not mention chemical, D&E, D&X, or other forms) through an abortion before being certified as an obstetrician. He also ran off a list of what he called "The Abortion President" and the numbers of pro-baby murder people in his cabinet, and described the mother of the "birth control" movement Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) and her Eugenics movement, especially with the racist views of Miss Sanger. In times reminiscent of 1984 style doublespeak, he described the doublespeak of the abortion lobby:

• "Safe" -- Never safe.
• "Legal and Rare" -- Massive numbers of abortion, anywhere, at any time.
• "Reproductive Care" (used as part of socialised medicine plans) -- Baby murder factories and full support.

Mr. Smith noted too that the President is forcing other nations to accept legalisation of abortion, but what I observed was while he wants other nations to adopt baby murder as full and legal for all nine months, he is having other liberal nations' laws override our laws passed by our state legislatures and federal legislators in all aspects of law, henceforth why I have often referred as the nation's legislative capital moving to Belgium. Furthermore, the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA) has turned a blind eye on Peking's automatic abortion and eugenics policy in the People's Republic as part of the one child policy, comparing it to Hitler-era Germany's eugenics policy, and calling it a total capitulation of human rights abuses.

When you've been at the dinner table with Terri Schiavo's siblings (Bobby Schindler at the 2009 NRLC Convention, Suzanne Vitadamo at the 2006 SCCL pre-march dinner), been in the front lines of learning the agenda over twelve March for Life events, and even have heard Sean Hannity speak on this at the 2001 event in that venue, what do you expect?

The winner of the oratorical contest, Elizabeth Trisler, even mentioned that Jay Leno helped support the Feminist Majority Foundation at an April 29 fundraiser. This organisation is designed to force as many children to be killed as possible. She also said that her (then) four-year old brother could identify a "fetus" as a living child, something this government cannot identify. Another point she referenced was a 2004 report where four times as many mothers died in abortions than died in childbirth (101 vs 27).

We have ourselves a great up and coming speaker once she gets through college and law school, if she can keep her faith.

The dinner was expensive but was the only event I could attend because of work (missed out on all the goodies, which I regret). Nevertheless, Christopher Smith's speech was huge, and the oratorical contest reminds me every school needs a pro-life oratorical contest in order for us to send our local winners to a regional contest, and be able to represent our state at the next NRLC in Pittsburgh. Of course, a nice dinner that could have been prepared by a member of the staff of a Fuji Television series (let's say it -- allez cuisine!), an NRLC intern who had great piano skills on that Gibson piano (Gibson, which has been in the piano business in 2004, shut down its US piano factory in Arkansas last year and has all pianos made in China after purchasing a state-owned firm in 2006) provided by the hotel (The adults had better music! The kids party was kids dancing to pop tunes of a bygone era and even into today, and was far worse than what I remember) playing during our meal, and the great speeches made it worth the wait, although some didn't like the hotel which held this year's convention. It was the same building as the last time NRLC was in the Queen City, but undergoing a sale and change in name meant many things weren't the same. (The last time it was in Charlotte, I attended it and saw Sean Hannity. The youth are smart enough that when I started to quote the theme song of the radio show, they knew it was Sean!)

Oh, by the way: please bring back the Carmina Burana to Sean's opening.

Protecting Baby Killers but not Feline Killers. My cat finds herself thinking as much as Rush Limbaugh's cat. But when an 18-year old who kidnaps and kills cats is prosecuted while so many who kill babies under the guise of "abortion" are being allowed off the hook, what gives? Why can't the babies be protected like the cats?

Ken Jennings Admits It. The three million dollar game show legend who won on Jeopardy! five years ago has assisted with Sony once again on a game show project. This past season, he was on Sony's Who Wants to be a Millionaire as an Ask the Expert panelist. Now he's admitted to taping a New York pilot for the proposed 2009 CBS revival of another Sony game show, Pyramid.

Pink Lady, No Jeff*

As we're just a little more than two weeks away from Mother's Day, we find ourselves in the midst of the yearly pink flood of publicity - nay, coersion - regarding Susan G. Komen for the Cure. If you know anyone involved in this cause - and, let's be honest, how many of us don't? - then you also know that refusal to go along with this cause is something akin to drowning cats and pulling the wings off of birds. You just don't do it, or at least you do it at your own peril. It's so oppresive, you'd think it was coming from the United Way.

As this article - which I wrote one year ago today - points out, there is every reason to be concerned about Komen, particularly their relationship with Planned Parenthood. Read the whole thing for the details.

And just why should we be concerned about organizations and their tête-à-têtes with PP? For that, look no further than this article by Mona Charen, telling us more about the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. Sanger, according to Charen, "was a most thoroughgoing racist. 'Eugenics,' [Sanger] wrote, 'is the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political, and social problems.'" The chief goal of birth control, according to Sanger, was "More children from the fit, less from the unfit.”

Granted, organizations can evolve from their origins, and not all of them take on the personal foibles of their founders. Nonetheless, one can only imagine how a conservative organization would be viewed if its founder had spouted the same kind of garbage.

Oh, and if you needed any more proof that God has a finely tuned sense of irony (and why wouldn't He?), check out this close by Charen: "Margaret Sanger hated abortion and called abortionists 'blood sucking men with M.D. after their names.'”

Planned Parenthood is an anti-life organization. The fact that a group such as Komen, supposedly dedicated to saving women's lives, would have anything to do with it, regardless of the nature of that relationship, is a scandal. Share this information with people you know. And if someone approaches you in the next two weeks with a request to donate to the Race for the Cure, tell them to stick this in their pipe and smoke it. And the same goes for their corporate lackeys.

Breast cancer is a terrible disease, and fighting to find a cure is a noble cause. It deserves a better champion than Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

*The significance of the title? Well, that would come from this, surely one of the worst television shows of the 80s. I guess you just had to be there.

The Scandal of "The Cure"

Most of you probably know this already, but as we approach Mother’s Day it bears repeating.

Mother’s Day has, over the years, become a sort of unofficial celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness. With it, we’ve seen a proliferation of pink ribbons blossom across the landscape, the most prominent of which belong to the organization known as Susan G. Komen for the Cure, formerly the Susan G. Komen Foundation. And it's almost impossible to go anywhere at this time of the year without being assulted by the Komen campaign.

The Race for the Cure is probably the best known of the Komen activities, and if you haven't already been asked, it's likely that someone running in one of the Mother's Day races will be hitting you up for a contribution at some point in the next couple of weeks. But that's not all: retailers offer a percentage of their sales to Komen, Major League Baseball donates funds to Komen based on the number of home runs hit on Mother's Day, pink accessories appear in jewelry and clothing stores, each one carefully designed to allow the wearer to make a political statement about fighting breast cancer. The whole thing has become a cottage industry.

What none of them want to talk about, of course, is the dirty little secret - the relationship between Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Planned Parenthood, the number-one provider of abortions in the United States.

According to Komen, their grants to Planned Parenthood are specifically for breast cancer testing. However, as anyone with experience in the charity world knows, organizations such as Planned Parenthood operate on a budget, which means that any money specified for one area (such as breast cancer testing) frees up money which can be used in other areas – and we all know what those areas are. Various sources put Komen’s contribution in grants to Planned Parenthood in 2003 alone at more than $475,000. That means $475,000 was freed up for some of Planned Parenthood’s “other” activities.

(And even if one were to accept Komen's explanation, it's a little harder to understand some of the other "relationships" into which local Komen chapters enter, such as the Denver afiliate's past funding for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community (GLBT) Center of Colorado.)

The Bioethics Defense Fund page offers an excellent synopsis of Komen’s relationship with the pro-abortion movement over the years. Among the highlights:

• Susan G. Komen for the Cure awarded 72 grants to Planned Parenthood afflilates during the years 2000 through 2005.
  
• Nancy Brinker, Komen Founder, was listed as an advisory board member in the 2002 annual report of Planned Parenthood of North Texas, the fifth largest Planned Parenthood affiliate in the nation.
  
• Despite Komen's assertion that the grant money is for breast services only, Planned Parenthood’s own records show their breast services are declining while their abortion numbers are increasing

Unfortunately, it seems that you can't go many places without being assulted by the Komen campaign. Thankfully, not everyone is taken in by Komen’s campaign. For example, Curves, the women’s fitness franchise, stopped supporting Komen events because of their involvement with Planned Parenthood. In 2007, the Archdiocese of St. Louis adopted a policy of non-support because of Komen’s ties to Planned Parenthood. Pro-life groups have called supposedly pro-life Congressmen on the carpet for supporting Komen's activities.

What’s also interesting about this is that Komen, in supporting Planned Parenthood, completely ignores the ongoing examination of the relationship between abortion and breast cancer. While the National Cancer Institute, in a 2003 study, concluded that there was no relationship between the two, this has by no means been universally accepted. The outstanding pro-life organization American Life League thinks the issue is still in doubt; the Polycarp Research Institute feels likewise. Komen may not want to talk about it, but the jury's still out.

You know, there’s an old saying about how when you lie down with dogs, you get fleas. The fact is that nobody doing business with Planned Parenthood, no matter how good intentioned they might feel it is, escapes the taint of the evil that they do.

If a friend asks you to make a pledge for the Race for the Cure, tell them the history of Komen's association with Planned Parenthood. Most successful propaganda agencies depend on the work of useful idiots, and it's just possible your friend doesn't know about Komen's agenda. Be polite, but firm. They may not understand, but if you handle it right they'll probably respect you. They might even thank you.

If your favorite retailer dedicates a portion of their sales to support Komen, stop buying from them. But don't stop there - tell them why you're not buying from them. Retailers are just as susceptible to being fooled as individuals are. They also tend to get concerned when people stop buying their wares, especially when they find out why. And if they don't care about your concerns, tell them you don't care about their products. And that you'll tell your friends.

If you hear others discussing Komen, don't hesitate to point out the facts to them. I've just included a few of them here - a quick Google will give you more information than you could possibly ask for. Don't be surprised if they find what you have to say hard to believe, for the idea of an organization fighting breast cancer providing support to an abortion provider has no inherent logic to it. Maybe they'll listen to you and maybe they won't, but you can never go wrong standing up for the truth.

And that's the key to all this - standing up. Too many times we sit back and let others do all the standing, and they run right over us. Komen may not stand on the hilltops and shout the news of their association with Planned Parenthood, but they haven't made a secret of it either. And frankly I think there are a lot of good, decent people with their hearts in the right place who would be shocked and outraged to hear about it. You owe it to them to be a witness to the truth. Seek out the many breast cancer groups that don't give to Planned Parenthood, or other abortion providers, and support them. Let Komen know they can't play everyone for a fool. For God's sake, you can do no less.

It's ironic that Komen has chosen Mother’s Day as the focus of their activities; for, in supporting the work of Planned Parenthood, they are only seeing to it that fewer and fewer women will have reason to celebrate the day.

The Rest of the Story

Appropos of Mitchell's post yesterday, it is impossible to talk about abortion without bringing up the subject of eugenics. Just as Cormac McCarthy's quote shows that the discussion of abortion invariably brings you to euthenasia, Ron Radosh's New York Sun review of Jonah Goldberg's new book Liberal Fascism demonstrates that no analysis of abortion can be complete without understanding the barbaric - and essentially racist - topic of eugenics. Here's an excerpt of Radosh's review:

Turning to what he calls liberal racism, Mr. Goldberg offers readers his finest chapter. It is a devastating picture of how liberals adopted eugenics — a basic part of Nazi doctrine — which was not, as some liberal intellectuals have argued, an outgrowth of conservative thought. Fans of Margaret Sanger, perhaps the single most important feminist hero of the 20th century, will never be able to think of her in the same way. Mr. Goldberg dissects her hidden views of eugenics. A socialist and birth-control martyr, she favored banning reproduction of the "unfit" and regulation of everyone else's reproduction. She wrote, "More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief issue of birth control." She opposed the birth of "ill-bred, ill-trained swarms of inferior citizens." Her words reveal her motive in advocacy of birth control. She sought to remove "inferior" people from being born to poor people, whose mothers by definition were "unfit." Sanger's partisans in Planned Parenthood, the group that stemmed from her work, will be shocked to learn that her publication endorsed the Nazi eugenics program, and that Sanger herself "proudly gave a speech to a KKK rally." That was not surprising, since she clearly viewed blacks as inferior. Hence her "Negro Project," in which she sought to urge blacks to adopt birth control.

This isn't a secret, mind you. Or, rather, it's the dirty little secret of the "pro-choice" movement. But Santayana once pointed out what happened to those who don't remember history, so it might be a good thing to remind people of it. Remind them the next time someone refers to Planned Parenthood as a "women's health clinic." Remind them when the breast cancer Race for the Cure comes around in May, sponsored by the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and remember that the Komen Foundation contributes to Planned Parenthood. Remind the supporters of Planned Parenthood and the Komen Foundation (and other organizations supporting PP) of this inconvenient little truth, and ask them to defend it.

Supreme Court Victory

It is finally pleasing to see that the United States Supreme Court, which has long tilted towards allowing foreign countries to overrule the United States when it comes to lawmaking (and metaphorically, make Bruxelles, Belgique our nation's capital), has been put down to its pieces by this week's 5-4 ruling declaring legal a federal law making a crime an act where a baby in the process of being born in breach (feet comes first through the birthcanal) is then decapitated before the head appears.

It is the first time since the gruesome and tragic day of January 22, 1973 (a day where in Jamaica that night, Howard Cosell called "Down goes Frazier!" in the Foreman-Frazier fight) that the United States Supreme Court has restored sanity to this battle in favor of life.

After over 34 years, it is a scene to see sanity has been partially restored by prohibiting the practice of infanticide which had been declared legal by courts using "invented lawmaking" which has created the "constitutional right to an abortion," and "constitutional right to sodomy," both of which declared legal by a "right to privacy" to invent these rights.

The "right to privacy" not only has created incentives to do immoral acts, even criminals have taken advantage of this. Over the Christmas week, a criminal went to our shop and paid for a computer repair bill with a forged check, looking perfectly legitimate, with someone else's name and address, and phone number on the front, and a second victim's Community Resource Bank (AMEX: SCB) account number on the check, with the bank's former name written on the check and base city misspelled, and a different bank's code numbers on the top, and topped it off with a false driver's license. The check initially cleared the bank, but two months later, after the victim of the check fraud reported the incident, the check was returned unpaid. I contacted authorities and they could not continue the investigation because the officer noted the right to privacy made it impossible to trace the phone number of the criminal.

Considering the costs of "right to privacy," and who pays for the criminal acts which are being permitted, it is a blessing finally to see the United States Supreme Court return to some form of sanity by banning this gruesome form of infanticide.
